Dave
Gorman's Googlewhack! Adventure
Perhaps you’ve
heard of a Googlewhack. If not, it’s a
pair of otherwise unconnected words
that, when entered into the Google
search engine returns with a single
website hit in the whole world wide
web. The owner of the website is also
a Googlewhack.
Googlewhacks are
not easy to find, but it’s easy to
waste plenty of time looking for them
— as Dave Gorman well knows. But he
also gathered a hilarious set of
stories about the people and exploits
he encountered along the way. The
truth becomes unbelievable as Gorman
darts around the stage luring you into
his outlandish world, tale by tale.

sculptor Abakanowicz creates a place for
contemplation at the Museum with a major
installation of her haunting bronze

neighbors I must get used to, and who I
have to accept." The sculptures
have a powerful presence – 95
life-size figures stand in large groups
as an anonymous crowd. Abakanowicz, born
